CATTI Courses

The CATTI translation and interpreting courses (level-3) are specifically designed to provide training in translation and/or interpreting for students who wish to pass the China Aptitude Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI ) in translation and/or interpreting. In 2006, the Centre for Translation Studies at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University was designated by the CATTI examining body as the only institution in Hong Kong qualified to provide training for CATTI applicants. Ever since then we have provided all of the training courses for CATTI applicants in Hong Kong. These training courses, which are now administered and run by the Centre of Translation Studies in the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies, are targeted at applicants for level-3 of CATTI. The Centre may also offer training courses for CATTI level-2 takers in the future.
