Congratulations to Mr Corey Wang 王宇翔 on winning the first runner-up award at the 2018 National Essay Writing Contest (「品書知日本」2018徴文大賽)

Congratulations to Mr Corey Wang王宇翔 for winning the first runner-up award at the 2018 National Essay Writing Contest (「品書知日本」2018徴文大賽) organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University Library and The Japan Science Society! Participants were asked to submit a short piece of writing on a topic related to Japan. Mr Wang, a student of the Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC), received the award for his excellent essay titled “Asian integration and Tenshin Okakura.” The winners, including Mr Wang, were invited to attend an award presentation ceremony held in Shanghai in December 2018. Mr Wang is also the winner of the 2018 PolyU Japan-themed Essay Writing Contest organized jointly by Pao Yue-kong Library and the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies.
