Dr. Crystal Kwan, Assistant Professor of APSS and Dr. Timothy Sim, Associate Professor of APSS, received awards from the PolyU K.C. Wong Belt and Road (B&R) Visiting Fellowship Scheme 2019.

The Fellowship Scheme aims to strengthen the tie between PolyU and the B&R higher education institutions, and provides up to 10 fellowships each year to PolyU scholars. It encourages awardees to carry out B&R related studies, and supports education development in B&R countries, as well as embarks on research collaboration with the Belt and Road scholars.

Dr. Kwan and Dr. Sim gratefully acknowledges the support of the K.C. Wong Education Foundation. Dr. Kwan will visit the University of the Philippines while Dr. Sim will visit the University of Pretoria to carry out B&R related research and educational activities within the academic year of 2019/20.
