Administrative Assistant
The Hong Kong Mathematical Society is looking for a self-motivated individual for the position of Administrative Assistant. The appointee is expected to perform general administrative duties such as liaison with schools and other academic parties, logistical support for activities, newsletter editing, and any other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. He/She should be responsible, service-orientated, able to work collaboratively and independently, and willing to take up additional duties. The appointment will be a fixed-term contract of 12 months. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
Approximate monthly salary:
HK$7,000 – HK$9,000
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Programmer
The Hong Kong Mathematical Society is inviting applications for the position of programmer. The appointee is expected to set up and maintain online resources platforms, develop web applications, enhance and maintain systems, and prepare related technical documentations.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline. He/She should be able to work independently with minimum supervision, have good communication skills and excellent analytical ability with hands-on experience in JavaScript, PHP framework and MySQL. Job samples or snippets for demonstration in the interview are preferred.
The appointment will be a fixed-term contract of 9 months. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.

HK$9,000 – HK$11,000
