The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) School of Accounting and Finance hosted a delegation from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) on 6 July 2026, comprising 60 senior management and professional participants from the iMBA programme. The visit fostered academic exchange and collaboration in the fields of Web3 and artificial intelligence. The programme began with introductions by Prof. Brian Kei, followed by welcome remarks from Prof. Ben Young, Vice President (Student and Global Affairs), and Prof. Nancy Su, Head of the School of Accounting and Finance. Faculty members and industry partners shared insights through thematic presentations. The delegation concluded their visit with a guided tour of PolyU’s Industrial Centre, where participants experienced the Air Lab and the Hybrid Immersive Virtual Environment. The tour provided hands-on exposure to PolyU’s advanced facilities supporting innovation and interdisciplinary learning. The visit underscored the Research Centre’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and advancing knowledge in Web3.0 and AI. Informal exchanges between SKKU participants and PolyU scholars enriched the dialogue on future opportunities for collaboration in digital economy and finance.
