We are delighted to announce that Dr Anson Wong, Senior Lecturer of the School of Accounting and Finance, has been named the Regional Champion (North Asia) of the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) Teaching Award under the Accounting Educator Awards 2025 organised by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
The 2025 CGMA Accounting Educator Award is one of the most respected and influential awards in the field of accounting education globally. This year's award received 532 applications and nominations from around the world, covering various project training institutions, university partners, and individual applicants from Hong Kong, mainland China, and Macau.
Dr Wong's achievement is a testament to her dedication to providing high-quality education and her commitment to nurturing the next generation of accounting and finance professionals. Dr Wong was praised for her excellence in transforming curriculum for digital and research readiness.
