Tuition Fees - Government Funded Programmes
International

The following tuition fee is charged for full-time government-funded Bachelor's Degree schemes / programmes in the 2024/25 academic year:

  • HK$160,000 (approximately US$20,513) per academic year payable by two equal instalments before the start of the first and second semesters of the academic year.

All new students in government-funded full-time Bachelor's Degree schemes / programmes are required to pay an initial fee of HK$15,000 to secure a place of study at our University. All applicants, whether they are scholarship recipients or not, have to pay the initial fee once they are offered admission to our undergraduate schemes / programmes.

Applicants are strongly advised to settle the initial fee by Visa, Master, UnionPay card, Alipay or WeChat Pay (China wallet). If you arrange payment via telegraphic transfer, please be reminded to transfer additional HK$240Note 1 as the service fee charged by the beneficiary bank in Hong Kong when you are paying the debit note in your home town. The initial fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable, will be converted to form part of the first semester tuition fee upon admission. The remainder must then be paid on or before the payment deadline specified on the debit note.

Tuition fee is non-refundable, except in the case of scheme / programme cancellation. However, if a new student has submitted application for withdrawal or has been approved for deferment of study by the relevant department before the start of the first semester, then the tuition fee paid for the semester, after deducting the initial fee, will be refunded to the student.

Note 1: Handling fee is neither refundable nor transferable. In case additional handling fee does not suffice for the actual bank charge, student shall be responsible for the deficit.
