Professor Kerstin Fink, Rector of the Fachhochschule Salzburg (FHS) – Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, visited the SHTM.

13 March – HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences, Finland
Dr Lauri Tuomi, Vice President and Director of the Research, Development and Innovation Centre at the HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences, visited the School and its facilities.

16 March – International University College, Bulgaria
Professor Todor Radev, Rector of International University College, and Professor Stanislav Ivanov, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs. visited the SHTM.

20 March – Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic, China
Professor Gao Chuangkuan, Director of the Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic, visited the SHTM and Hotel ICON.

21 March – Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore
A group of 33 staff and diploma students from Singapore Polytechnic's Integrated Events and Project Management programme visited the School.

27 March – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA
Professor L. Rafael Reif, Provost of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Mrs Christine Reif visited the School and Hotel ICON.

28 March – Hong Kong Management Association, Hong Kong
Led by Ms Titania Woo, General Manager of the Hong Kong Management Association, 35 delegates visited the SHTM and Hotel ICON.

30 March – Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, UK
Dr Christine Bovis-Cnossen, Dean of the School of Arts, Social Sciences and Management at the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, visited the SHTM and its facilities.

11 April – The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong
Mr Pierre Perusset, General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong visited the School and its facilities. Mr Perusset and Professor Kaye Chon, Dean of the SHTM, signed a partnership agreement to support the Work-Integrated-Education programme.

13 April – Beijing Hannan Hotel Asset Management Consulting Company Limited, China
Mr Shen Feng, President of the Beijing Hannan Hotel Asset Management Consulting Company Limited, visited the School.

13 April – University of Queensland, Australia
Ms Anneliese Berglind, Coordinator of International Study Experiences, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Queensland, visited the SHTM and discussed student exchange programmes with Dr Catherine Cheung.

13 April – Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, China
A four-member delegation from the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics including Mr Guo Pu, Associate Director of the Administration Office, Ms Zhou Jiuli, International Education Manager, Ms Lois Zhang Ying, Director of the Human Resource and Business Development Office, and Mr Liu Xu, Human Resource Officer, visited the SHTM and its facilities.

16 April – Universities, China
Led by Ms Kan Lin, 14 delegates from 7 leading universities in mainland China, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Southeast University, the Beijing Institute of Technology, Chongqing University and the Northeast Forestry University, visited the School and its facilities.

17 April – The Dragon, Hangzhou, China
Ms Cathy Yu, Assistant General Manager of the Dragon, Hangzhou, and Mr Willy Chan, Resident Manager, visited the School.

17 April – Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong
A group of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce members visited the SHTM and its facilities.

19 April – Hong Kong Community College, Hong Kong
Led by Dr Benny Chan, Senior Lecturer at the Hong Kong Community College, a group of 11 final year students majoring in Hotel and Tourism Management visited the School.

23 April – Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, Thailand
A group of 31 lecturers and administrative staff from the Trang Campus of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University visited the SHTM.

24 April – Hong Kong Community College, Hong Kong
Led by Dr Pamela Ho, Lecturer at the Hong Kong Community College, a group of 43 students visited the School.

25 April – Busan Women's University, Korea
Led by Professor Bokeun Park, a group of 23 students from Busan Women's University visited the School and its facilities.

25 April – Republic Polytechnic, Singapore
Led by Mr Yeo Li-pheow, Principal and CEO of the Republic Polytechnic, a four-member delegation including Mr Albert Toh, Director of the School of Hospitality, Mr Lee Yat-cheong, Director of Estates, and Mr Ben Tan, Assistant Director, Capability Development of the School of Hospitality, visited the SHTM and its facilities.

26 April – Caritas Bianchi College of Careers, Hong Kong
Led by Ms Salott Chau, Lecturer at the Caritas Bianchi College of Careers, a group of 30 students visited the School.

26 April – Burgundy School of Business, France
Professor Stephan Bourcieu, Dean of the Burgundy School of Business and Professor Marie-Jose Albert-Batt, Associate Dean and Director of International Relations, International Relations Office, visited the SHTM.

27 April – Hong Kong Wuxi Trade Association Limited and Wuxi Municipal People's Government, China
Led by Mr Kenneth Ting Woo-shou, President of the Hong Kong Wuxi Trade Association Limited and Chairman of Kader Holdings Company Limited, and Mr Zhu Kejiang, Vice Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Wuxi, an eight-member delegation visited the School and Hotel ICON.

Dr Prakash Chathoth, Associate Professor at the Department of Tourism, Leisure, Hotel and Sport Management at Griffith University, visited the SHTM.

Mr Martin Craigs, CEO of Pacific Asia Travel Association, visited the SHTM and its facilities.

14 May – Guizhou Province, China
Led by Mr Wang Chun-lei, Director General of Guiyang Tourism Development Committee, 40 senior officials from Guizhou Province, China, visited the School and its facilities.

17 May – Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Thailand
