9 January – Kyung Hee University, Korea
Led by Mr Jeesuk Kang, International Coordinator of Kyung Hee University, a group of 16 students visited the SHTM and Hotel ICON.

10 January – Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC, USA
Ms Amanda Hyndman, General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental in Washington DC, visited the SHTM and Hotel ICON.

19 January – St. Petersburg University of Humanities and Social Sciences, Russia
Dr Alexander Zapesotsky, President of the St. Petersburg University of Humanities and Social Sciences visited the SHTM.

27 January – Shenzhen, China
A group of 18 students and teachers from Shenzhen visited the School.

2 February – National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, Taiwan
Dr Jimmy Yung Chi-yeh, President of the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, visited the School leading an eight-member delegation including Dr Chen Dun-Ji, Vice-President of Academic, Mr Patrick Su, Special Assistant to the President, Dr Leo Huang Rong-peng, Dean of the School of Tourism, Dr Huang Jau-hsien, Dean of the School of Hospitality Management, Dr Janet Chang, Dean of Culinary Arts, Dr Chen Shu-chuan, Dean of International Affairs, and Dr Lin Shu-ying from the Culinary Arts Department.

6 February – Sookmyung Women's University, Korea
Fifteen students from Sookmyung Women's University visited the SHTM and its facilities.

8 February – Far East Consortium International Limited, Hong Kong
Tan Sri Dato' David Chiu, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Far East Consortium International Ltd, Mr Andrew Chiu, and Mr Chris Hoong, Managing Director of the company, visited the School and Hotel ICON.

8 February – Naumi Hotel Group, Singapore
Mr Surya Jhunjhnuwala, Managing Director of the Naumi Hotel Group, visited the SHTM.

8 February – Mahidol University, Thailand
Professor Maleeya Kruatrachue, Dean of Mahidol University International College, and Assistant Professor Chanin Yoopetch, Chairman of Tourism and Hospitality Management, visited the SHTM.

15 February – Jeju National University, Korea
Led by Professor Sung-soo Jang, a group of 21 students from Jeju National University visited the School and its facilities.

16 February – Secondary Schools, Hong Kong
Organised by the Hong Kong Community College as part of a project to promote hospitality Putonghua in local secondary schools, 35 secondary students visited the SHTM.

17 February – Secondary Schools, Hong Kong
A second group of 35 secondary students attending the hospitality Putonghua programme organised by the Hong Kong Community College visited the School.

17 February – Zhuhai College of Jilin University, China
Led by Professor Qiaoyun Sun, Associate Dean of the Department of Tourism Management, Zhuhai College of Jilin University, a delegation of seven members visited the SHTM and its facilities.

22 February – Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong
Ms Darlene Brad, Director of Food and Beverage Operations of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Ms Cici Chiu, Operations Manager, visited the School.

23 February – Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, Estonia
Ms Krista Tuulik, Rector of the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, and Mr Valvo Paat, Rector of the Estonian School of Hotel and Tourism Management, visited the School and its facilities.

29 February – InterContinental Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Mr Jean-Jacques Reibe, Managing Director of the InterContinental Hong Kong, visited the SHTM.

1 March – Community College of City University, Hong Kong
Led by Dr Billy Ho and Ms Esther Jungeun Jin, 26 associate-degree students majoring in Leisure and Tourism Management from Community College of City University visited the SHTM.

5 March – Caritas Wu Cheng-chung Secondary School, Hong Kong
A group of 40 students from Caritas Wu Cheng-chung Secondary School visited the School and its facilities.

8 March – Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, China
Led by Professor Chengyu Que, Vice President of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, a four-member delegation including Professor Yanzhi Zhao, Dean of Surrey International Institute, Mr Weiqi Guo, Assistant Dean of Surrey International Institute, and Dr Fangfang Shi, Faculty Director of Tourism Management, Surrey International Institute visited the School.
