Mrs Angel Lau, BBS, JP
Mrs Angel Lau, Chairman of Squina International Group Limited, is a philanthropic entrepreneur. She has been dedicated to promoting health, education and social services by serving as Director and Advisor in many charity bodies.
Mrs Lau was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Po Leung Kuk in 2007 to 2008 and was a member of the Advisory Board of Po Leung Kuk in 2016 to 2021. She is currently the Chairman of Squina Loving Heart Voluntary Team and Supervisor of Po Leung Kuk Grandmont Primary School.
Mrs Lau has been awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star and appointed a Justice of the Peace by the HKSAR Government for her tremendous contributions.

Professor Janelle Yorke
Professor Janelle Yorke is a nurse academic who specialises in cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, with particular research expertise in symptom measurement and management to improve quality of life. As an internationally renowned expert in the development and clinicalimplementation of electronic Patient Reported Outcome Measures (ePROMs) and evaluation of symptom management interventions, she was awarded a Hong Kong Government Global STEM Professorship in 2024, the only nursing academic to receive such an honour. She now leads a research team in PolyU to study and implement remote symptom monitoring with linked embedded digital interventions to support patient self-management and provide informal support to caregivers.
Professor Yorke’s work on ePROMs includes symptom specific and quality of life measures that have been translated into more than 50 different languages. She was the Chair of the Christie Hospital ePROM group, leading the implementation of e-PROMs into routine oncology clinical care. With a remarkable track record in securing research grants, her other research areas include the development and evaluation of complex interventions to support patients to self-manage distressing symptoms such as refractory dyspnea, cough, fatigue and anxiety. She serves as the Associate Editor for European Journal of Cancer Nursing (EJON) and was recently elected Secretary of the International Dyspnea Society.
Prior to relocating to Hong Kong, Professor Yorke was a senior academic at University of Manchester in UK for 12 years, including the Inaugural Chair of Cancer Nursing. In 2022, she was also appointed the Executive Chief Nurse of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, a comprehensive cancer centre in Europe.
