PolyU invention makes 3D mapping more accurate
Integrating multi-platform satellite/aerial imagery and laser scanning, PolyU's novel 3D mapping model can greatly reduce the inconsistencies and improve the accuracy in mapping products.  
Achievements
In collaboration with Chinese mainland researchers, PolyU researchers have bagged one first-class and three second-class awards in the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Output Awards (Science and Technology) 2015.
