Financing alumni to start up innovative businesses

 

The inaugural award presentation of the “STEFG-PolyU China Entrepreneurship Fund” jointly established by PolyU and Shanghai Technology Entrepreneurship Foundation for Graduates (STEFG) was held in Shenzhen recently. Among 50 entries from PolyU alumni, eight start-ups with business potentials were funded RMB200,000 each to start operation in Shanghai or Shenzhen. The awarded business ideas included diversified information platforms, creative design for urban renewal, a vehicle-mounted head up display system, an eco-recycling farm and processing plant, and orthotic insole fabrication etc. Details>> (Chinese version only)
