On 5 September, Prof. Alan Lau Kin-tak of PolyU’s Department of Mechanical Engineering was presented the prestigious UGC Teaching Award by the University Grants Committee (UGC) Chairman Mr Edward Cheng.

The Awards Citation described Prof. Lau as being “a visionary and adventurous teacher who has crossed many of the boundaries in higher education today to provide students with an exceptionally rich and engaging learning experience which initiates them into the discipline of product and engineering design.” Details>>
