Recently, PolyU Micro Fund-supported start-up company Alchemist Creations won the “Red Dot Design Award, Best of the Best 2013” (watch and jewellery category) by its “CAN-WATCH” made from upcycling the bottom of soda cans and leather remnant. The “CAN-WATCH” series is the brainchild of PolyU design alumni Miss Ling Ching-yin, Mr Ho Chun-kin and Mr Siu Tien-sum who were awarded seed money under PolyU Micro Fund Scheme in 2012 to implement their business proposition and set up their own company.
