Smart pill box shines in national innovation contest

PolyU student and HK relay team bag gold medal

 

A team of PolyU design students snatched the First Prize in Southern China and Second Prize of a national innovation competition themed “Innovation light up the life” organized by 3M. Standing out from over 500 entries, the winning design is a Smart Pill Box for the elderly which serves three functions: pill time reminder, one-key caller and GPS positioning.

The winning team comprises Nick Zeng, April Huang, Lulu Chang and Miro Zeng who are students of MSc in Multimedia and Entertainment Technology programme. Details>>
