With support from the industry, a collection of green plastic products designed by PolyU’s mechanical engineering students was presented at the Eco Expo Asia 2011 from 26 to 29 October. Mr Edward Yau, Secretary for the Environment of the HKSAR Government, visited PolyU’s booth and expressed interest in the products designed and produced by the students. 

The booth was opened by Dr Steve Wong, Managing Director, Fukutomi Company Limited; Dr Royce Yuen, Deputy CEO & Head of Artist Business and Events, Pacific Global Management Asia Limited; Prof. Timothy W. Tong, PolyU President; and Project Coordinator Prof. Alan Lau Kin-tak of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Details>>
