Hello everyone! This is Ocean from SHTM, majoring in Hotel Management. I was transferred from Hong Kong Community College (Hospitality Management). When I came to PolyU, I ran into some challenges like performing subject registration, adopting new learning style, and meeting new friends. I even got lost in the campus once. It took me some time to adapt to the new environment.

Due to COVID-19, it is much harder to search for support without face-to-face interaction. Luckily the situation turned better after taking lessons and learning about the SYA project. I met some student ambassadors and got help from them. I also joined some activities and made friends with other senior entry students. I feel more comfortable to be in the university.
