SYA Internationalization-at-home (IaH) 2.0
Introduction and objectives:
Given the tight study schedule of SYA students and the global pandemic situation, the SYA Project is organizing a creative “Internationalization-at-home” (IaH) project for all SYA students. This project aims to involve Hong Kong SYA students to connect with undergraduate students from foreign countries (For 2022-23: Canada, Italy and Tunisia) in a virtual exchange lasting for six weeks. Students will be formed group and communicate through WhatsApp or other online platform to enhance your awareness of global citizenship, English proficiency and intercultural skills, and to broaden your cultural horizons and international exposure.
Project period:
13 Feb – 24 Mar 2023
Participating students may be invited to the project briefing before the opening ceremony as well.
Eligibility:
All SYA students from different disciplines with good English proficiency are welcome.
Registration and vacancy:
Based on the pilot nature of this international collaboration, only limited vacancies will be offered. SYA Project will carefully select the most suitable participants if the registration figure exceeds our capacity.
