"Science World: Exploring Space to Benefit Mankind" Education Programme

Description / Introduction:

PolyU will be organising a new initiative entitled “Science World: Exploring Space to Benefit Mankind” Education Programme in the 2021/22 school year to introduce space sciences and technologies to secondary students.

The objectives of the Programme are:

• To stimulate students’ interest in STEM education through an online lecture series;
• To help students understand the benefits of space explorations to mankind and the scientific importance of the China Space Station;
• To inspire students’ innovative thinking in technology through the utilisation of the China Space Station, particularly the microgravity environment; and
• To provide an opportunity for students to realise their scientific experiment inside (or outside) the China Space Station.
