Academics, experts and advocates of active learning pedagogies from a wide range of disciplines explored various approaches to technology enhanced active learning in tertiary education and shared their insights. The highlight of the symposium was a keynote address by prominent specialist in assessment and evaluation, Dr. Jenny Bergeron, Director of Educational Research & Evaluation at Harvard's Derek Bok Centre for Teaching and Learning and distinguished Professor Gwo-Jen Hwang, Chair Professor of the Graduate Institute of Digital Learning and Education and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
