Description / Introduction:

Mr Bobby Shiu from the Department of Health Technology and Informatics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, is invited to deliver a STEM talk at HKSciFest 2019.

Due to the rapid advancement of science and technology, the role of medical imaging in disease diagnosis is becoming more and more prominent nowadays. The mechanism behind the common medical imaging modalities is not only of the interest of health professionals and engineers. This STEM talk aimed at giving some scientific explanations on medical imaging to the public. The audience could even enrich their knowledge regarding their own health.
