Inter-U App Making Challenge

Description / Introduction:

The Inter-U App Making Challenge enabled students to learn about app making skills from design concepts (UI/UX) to start on a prototype, then turning their ideas into app making projects. There were four themes of app making workshops offered to UGC students for two days. About 55 students from different local universities attended the event on both days. In the end, a total of 9 teams presented their apps/prototypes. Presentations ranged from partially developed app idea to a functional app idea with well-developed concepts that had been thought through. The themes for app making were mostly related to societal, social and educational purposes.
