IBM-PolyU Data Science Workshop

Description / Introduction:

The Department of Computing and IBM joined hands to offer a series of free Data Science Workshops to nurture data-savvy talent who will be able to convert data into insights and help drive the economic growth of Hong Kong.

The workshops introduced participants to what data science is, the latest open source technologies, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IBM Watson Analytics, and the application of these technologies to solve typical business problems, as well as giving recommendations on their learning journeys with free e-resources.
