Assistive Technologies: Service Learning towards the Elderly and Disabled

Description:

PolyU students form groups to address the specific needs of the service recipients, including people with physical or mental disabilities, the elderly, NGOs and other rehabilitation-related organisations. Students make use of their biomedical engineering skills to analyse the needs of the service recipients and then design assistive devices to facilitate their daily activities.
