Dr Dahua Shou
Limin Endowed Young Scholar in Advanced Textiles Technologies, Assistant Professor

Dr Dahua Shou is Limin Endowed Young Scholar in Advanced Textiles Technologies (利民先進紡織科技青年學者席) under the University’s Endowed Young Scholars Scheme, an Assistant Professor of School of Fashion and Textiles (SFT), and a member of Research Institute for Intelligent Wearable Systems (RI-IWEAR), Research Institute for Smart Energy (RISE) and Research Institute for Sports Science and Technology (RISports), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He serves as the Head of Future Intelligent Wear Centre (未來智慧穿戴中心), SZRI. Dr Shou has been selected to be the recipient of the Fiber Society’s 2023 Distinguished Achievement Award in Fiber Science and ranks among Top 2% Scientists Worldwide 2022 (Career & Single Year) by Stanford University. He has received many reputed prizes including TechConnect Global Innovation Awards and Geneva Invention Awards. He has also been invited to be an Editorial Member of 7 Q1/Q2 SCI journals.
