Join us at the London Design Biennale (LDB) 2025 with the inspiring Human-Centred Design: Visuospace, representing the Hong Kong Pavilion at Somerset House, London!
This immersive 3D simulation with neuroaesthetic design as “Visuospace” is a project of Prof. Hee Sun CHOI, Assistant Professor of PolyU Design, supported by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s PTeC and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. The project highlights the complex relationships between emotions and the environment, spatial design and psychology to better understand how to ‘live and build well’. It takes a neuroscientific approach to the understanding and cognition of urban space – exploring cognitive patterns associated with a range of emotions and applying visuospatial processes to identify, integrate, and visualize in multiple dimensions.
The research project received an award from the Biennale to showcase this work alongside 40 other national pavilions. Additionally, on 26 June there will be a public talk, where Prof. Choi will share insights about the project and PolyU Design.
