Summary

In the lecture, Prof. Ruth Mugge will discuss several scientific theories on consumer behaviour change that help to explain why the transition from a linear economy to a Circular Economy is challenging. Building on these theories, she will present several design interventions that can encourage consumers to maintain and repair their products and to postpone their replacement, thereby aiding the transition to a Circular Economy

  • This seminar is open to all PolyU PhD students and SD staff.
  • This Zoom meeting accommodates 100 participants at most.
  • Event registration is required and on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting details before the event.
