Campus sharing on public awareness of eye fatigue problems hosted by famous singer Hins Cheung

PolyU students participated in a campus sharing session organised by Rohto yesterday, featuring renowned singer Hins Cheung. Prof. Mingguang He, Director of the PolyU-Rohto Centre of Research Excellence for Eye Care and Chair Professor of Experimental Ophthalmology joined Hins Cheung in promoting public awareness of eye fatigue problems to students through the “Know-Diagnose-Explore-Engage” framework.

PolyU and Rohto jointly establish the PolyU-Rohto Centre of Research Excellence for Eye Care in Oct. and released the “Promoting Healthy Vision and Prioritizing Standardised Diagnosis of Eye Fatigue” advocacy paper, which aims to enhance eye health within the broader community. 

Through this industry-academia collaboration, the Centre aims to establish and promote globally unified diagnostic standards and develop a multi-level diagnosis system for eye fatigue. It also seeks to explore new prevention methods and treatment approaches which would enhance eye health for the broader community.
