Visit by delegation of the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province

A delegation led by Mr LI Guoyang, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province visited The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) on 10 September. 

The delegation had in-depth meetings and discussions with PolyU representatives, including Prof. Zuankai WANG, Associate Vice President (Research and Innovation), Prof. Wu CHEN, Director of the PolyU-Hefei Technology and Innovation Research Institute and Head of the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics, Prof. Haitian LU, Director of Mainland Development Office and Prof. Hailong HUANG, Assistant Professor of the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering.

The delegation was given a guided tour of the State Key Laboratory of Ultra-precision Machining Technology at PolyU, gaining a deeper understanding of the University’s state-of-the-art facilities and research achievements. During the meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on facilitating the practical application of research achievements.

This visit established a robust communication platform between the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province and PolyU, laying a strong foundation for future collaboration in research and technology transfer.
