WORKS TENDER BOARD

The Works Tender Board is a sub-committee of the Campus Development Committee.

Terms of Reference

  1. The Works Tender Board is responsible for approving/recommending acceptance of tenders for all capital, maintenance and minor works projects.
  2. The Works Tender Board shall have the following delegated authority and responsibilities:
    1. to approve acceptance of tenders for all capital, maintenance and minor works projects from exceeding $1 million to $10 million without reference back to the Campus Development Committee for approval but subject to reporting back to the Campus Development Committee and Council via the Executive Committee;
    2. to make recommendations to the Executive Committee for approval the acceptance of tenders exceeding $10 million and to report back to the Campus Development Committee for information;
    3. to review and approve the University's lists of approved tenderers but subject to reporting back to the Campus Development Committee.
  3. To advise and to make recommendations on all tendering matters referred to it by the President and the Campus Development Committee.
