Policies are essential mechanisms to guide the governance, management and operation of the University. The Council has the responsibility to ensure that the University has formulated proper policies for every aspect of its operation, with regular review for appropriate modification/substitution. Polices which govern the University’s key areas of operation are outlined in sub-sections 2.2 to 2.5. of this Chapter
For the effective implementation of various policies, the University Management has established clear regulations, procedures and guidelines, which are reviewed and modified from time to time to ensure that they are fit for purpose. The definitions and approval/modification processes of policy and policy implementation mechanisms are listed in sub-section 2.1.
