Council has, over the years, formally delegated part of its power to its Standing Committees, with proper reporting mechanisms.
Reporting Mechanism
The Standing Committees, with the exception of the Audit Committee and the Senior Executives Evaluation & Compensation Committee which report direct to the Council, are required to submit regular reports to the Executive Committee, summarizing their transactions/discussions and actions taken with authority delegated by the Council.
The Executive Committee reviews such reports on behalf of the Council, and reports to the Council on a regular basis on actions it has taken and those of other Committees.
