2. The personal data in relation to your application will be used by SAO to assess your suitability for the application that you are applying for. It may be provided to authorised parties to process the information for purposes relating to the application where applicable.
3. It is our policy to retain the personal data of unsuccessful applicants for future reference purpose for a period of no longer than four years. Thereafter, your application together with all materials you provide will be disposed of.

Declaration
1. I declare that the information given by me in this application form is complete and true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I authorize the Student Affairs Office (SAO) to handle and use the personal data/ information provided by me and any supplementary information as required by SAO for activities relating to the handling and assessment of this application. I understand that the above personal data/information will be kept for a period of no more than four years under normal circumstances, subject to the full erasure within one year upon my graduation/departure from the PolyU.
2. I also authorize SAO to disclose the personal data provided to those relevant parties: for the above-mentioned purposes; where I have given my consent to such disclosure; and where such disclosure is authorized or required by law.
3. I understand that I have the right to obtain access and make corrections to the personal data provided by me in this application form. Such request should be sent to sao.gsap@polyu.edu.hk in writing. I also understand that this application form and related documents submitted are not returnable.
4. I understand that the photos and videos taken in the GSAP activities may be used for the official/ marketing purposes of GSAP/SAO.
