Connect with global experts at the Web of Science User Group Meeting 2023 and the National Taipei University of Technology

The Web of Science User Group Meeting 2023 took place on 11 August 2023 at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel in Taiwan. Scholars, researchers, and experienced analysts in the field joined together to discuss the latest developments. They explored new possibilities for enhancing research and analysis possibilities utilising a range of data and analytics tools provided by Clarivate.  Mr Charles CHENG, Senior Manager of IPAO at PolyU, was invited to present real case studies on the effective utilisation of Clarivate’s data and analytics tools for strategic planning, reviewing local peer research output, analysing subject ranking, performance and identifying top journals.

Additionally, participants had the opportunity to visit the National Taipei University of Technology. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to explore the university's cutting-edge facilities and research laboratories, gaining insights into the diverse research areas. It also facilitated the identification of potential collaboration.  A networking session was organised for representatives from various universities to engage in in-depth conversations on a wide range of research topics, fostering meaningful dialogue and possible future collaborations.
