Kolinker-IGDS Scholarship for Live-in Study in UK
Aims
The Kolinker-IGDS Scholarship is sponsored by Kolinker Group to participants of the PolyU-University of Warwick Integrated Graduate Development Scheme (IGDS). A maximum of four awards will be conferred in 2019. The aims of the scholarship are to:
  • provide IGDS participants with an opportunity to visit and study for an IGDS module overseas;
  • encourage participants to broaden their horizons and appreciate a different culture;
  • establish links with Hong Kong and overseas participants.
Eligibility
  • The Kolinker-IGDS Scholarship is open to all IGDS participants at PolyU in Hong Kong, who are studying full-time or part-time for the MSc/PgD in Engineering Business Management, or in Supply Chain and Logistics Management or in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Management;
  • Applicants are only eligible for the scholarship once.
Application and Administrative Procedures
  • Complete an application form and return to the IGDS office.
  • Applicants will be informed of the result in writing within four weeks after the application deadline.
Amount of Scholarship
  • The maximum amount of this scholarship is HK$10,000. This is intended to cover part of the expenses incurred during the trip to the overseas centre such as transportation, board and lodging.
Payment Arrangement
  • Normally, the approved scholarship will be reimbursed to successful applicants after successful completion of the IGDS overseas module.
Points to be observed
  • Information contained in the applications will only be used for processing the application for the Kolinker-IGDS Scholarship and it will be treated with strict confidence.
  • The candidate is responsible for visa or other immigration procedures that are required for entry to IGDS overseas centre.

Criteria of Award
  • Overall average score of the IGDS module marks is above 65% on the base of minimum of 3 modules.
  • All applicants should have submitted their MSc project proposals that approved by the Office.
  • All applicants are required to show the relevance of the selected module to their studies.
  • Applicants may be interviewed after submission of their applications.
