Efforts to refresh the campus

Greenery is something crucial to the University’s campus development. The green and natural scenery serve to link up the surroundings, create visual comfort, and establish a sustainable environment that enhances social interaction. The Landscaping Team of the Facilities Management Office (FMO) renders its efforts to maintain a lively and green campus for all. Members of the team regularly monitor the health of plants and trees on campus and replenish new species to ensure a healthy campus and a relaxed ambience. The photographs below reveal the landscaping works that happened in recent months.

Turf, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis (大紅花), Jatropha pandurifolia Andre (日日櫻), Rhododendron hybrida (比利時杜鵑), Calathea makoyana (孔雀竹芋), Nephrolepis exaltata (波士頓腎蕨) and Rhapis excelsa (大葉棕竹) were planted to improve the landscaping at CDEF Podium
