Engaging students with green activities

The Green Society, HKPUSU organized three orientation activities, the O-week, O-night and O-camp, in September 2017. Themed ‘Saving Our Earth under Global Warming’, student participants were much impressed and started to reflect on themselves. They also had a meaningful time exploring Cheung Chau, and were able to understand its ecological value. More activities will be organized in the coming months in order to arouse awareness on environmental protection among peer students, such as birdwatching in Nam Sang Wai and a journey of Shin Mun Reservoir. A Green Building Tour and an anti-mosquito cream workshop will be scheduled to demonstrate how to integrate green elements into our daily lives.
