Investigating into the many sides of plastic

Plastics are a part of our daily lives and have become invaluable components of many products surround us. However, in many ways when plastics made life easier, it also leads to an undesirable waste problem across the globe. It is one of the major municipal solid wastes in Hong Kong.

A lunch talk titled ‘Plastic Free: Plastics in Our Daily Lives’ was held on 28 September 2017 on campus, and was attended by over 100 staff and students who were eager to know more about plastics. Mr Hahn Chu from The Green Earth explored into the various types of plastic products in our daily lives. He also stressed the importance of reducing plastic waste and shared how to lead a low-carbon lifestyle.
