Programme Objectives
This programme, offered by Shaoguan University, was designed to promote the culture and history of ethnic Yao people to participants through featured activities and local visits.
Participants will learn about the language, songs, embroidery and dance of Yao people. They will also get a chance to visit famous attractions, such as Fengcai Building, Liannan Yao Village and the World Natural Heritage--Danxiashan National Park.

Programme Fee

- Students are to furnish an Outbound Activity Fee of HK$2,000 upon confirmation of nomination by CMAO. The fee is non-refundable;
- PolyU will make group travel arrangements (fixed date outbound & inbound)
- A special subsidy of HK$1,000 will be provided by PolyU for each participant who has satisfactorily fulfilled the requirement of the activity.

Eligibility
- Registered PolyU full-time degree undergraduate students (except exchange students);
- As stipulated by the MOE HK, Macau and Mainland University Students Exchange Funding Scheme (教育部港澳與內地高校師生交流計劃), and at the request of our partner university, priority will be given to students’ with permanent HKID.
