The presence of women in leadership positions has been proven to bring positive effects for organizations. Yet, women are still underrepresented in management teams. In this lecture, we provide insight regarding factors affecting women in the workplace, factors preventing women from attaining leadership positions, and strategies that can help women successfully rise to face these challenges. One important piece of this dialogue concerns how men can support women in the workplace and facilitate this growth. Each panelist is an established female leader in the Asia market, and each will share their unique perspective of factors that have helped them succeed in male-dominated markets. We will also welcome dialogue between attendees and panelists to discuss leadership issues facing women in the workplace. All genders are welcome!
