RIGHT Fund

Summary

The Research Investment for Global Health Technology (RIGHT) Foundation, a public-private partnership funding agency in Korea dedicated to supporting global healthcare R&D, is now calling for proposals for their Product Development Award and Evidence Generation Award with a funding amount up to 4 billion KRW (approximately 3.4 million USD).

The RIGHT Fund was jointly founded by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korean life science companies, and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2018. It supports the research and development of comprehensive healthcare technologies, such as vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostic platforms necessary in responding to new and endemic infectious diseases in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). It also provides a platform to explore collaboration with Korean researchers and industry partners.
