Dr Dennis Tay, Associate Professor of Department of English and Programme Leader of BA (Hons) in English and Applied Linguistics programme (BAEAL), introduced in a local post that the pandemic has provided a chance for students to realise the relationship between English and Applied Linguistics and the world.

BAEAL focuses on guiding students to explore the above and other issues, and to equip students with knowledge and skills in linguistic sciences, international communication and professional English.
