Introduction
Established in the 1930s, The Department of Building and Real Estate (BRE) has developed a leading position in providing a wide range of academic programmes that nurture preferred graduates for the building and real estate industry in the region. Our alumni have excelled in their professions locally and internationally. The Outstanding BRE Alumni Award aims to give public recognition to outstanding graduates of our Department for their distinguished accomplishments in their professions and significant contributions to the community.
Eligibility
Nominee
The nominee must be a bona fide graduate who has successfully completed regular full-time or part-time programmes offered by BRE (forerunners: "Building Department", "Department of Building, Surveying and Structural Engineering" & "Department of Building and Surveying") which lead to academic awards offered by the Department.
Selection Criteria
The major selection criteria include the nominee’s :
Personal achievements / accomplishments in his / her profession
Contribution to the community in which he / she lives and the built environment development &
Support to PolyU / BRE and the alumni development

The Outstanding BRE Alumni Award 2014 - Awardees
Department of Building and Real Estate is very delighted to present its “BRE Alumni Award” to two distinguished graduates in recognition of their remarkable accomplishments in their professions and significant contributions to the Department, the PolyU and the community. Their illustrious achievements and valuable contributions have earned them the very well-deserved honour.
Details of the Award Presentation Ceremony will be announced in due course. The two awardees are as follows:

Failure to provide complete and accurate information may result in disqualification of the nominee.
After an award is presented, it may be withdrawn by the Department when it is deemed appropriate. The Department reserves all rights to modify the above rules and criteria at all time or waive compliance with such rules at its sole discretion provided that the decision lives up to the spirit and purposes of the Outstanding BRE Alumni Award.
