Objectives:
To develop a comprehensive learning package for creative design-based projects to enhance the conceptual and creative capability of the students, thereby shifting the pedagogy from a teacher-centred to a learner-centred paradigm.
Remarks:
- The web-based user guidebook is a very useful tool for self-learning and it helps to save class teaching hour.
- The website for students hosts teaching materials which include PowerPoint and videos explaining design techniques and a photo gallery which shows examples of the teacher's work. Students can also upload images depicting the process and the final products of their coursework, and they can give ratings to others' design work on the website. The staged photos are intended to help students to produce their own ideas and develop a better understanding of how the process affects the final outcome.
