Objectives:
The project aims to design and implement the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) pedagogies at the levels of resources, communication and self-reflection for selected courses offered by the English Language Centre and the Hong Kong Institute of Education in the academic years 2014/15 and 2015/16.
As a result of this project,
- Students will be able to choose, access and learn with more e-resources in different types that address their learning needs through their own devices in and out of class;
- Students will be able to strengthen their connections with teachers and peers through their own devices in and out of class;
- Students will have ample opportunities to express their opinions as well as to respond to others' thoughts on different issues through their own devices in and out of class; and
- Students will be able to collect learning artefacts in and out of class thorugh their own devices for learning and then critically reflect on their learning based on the artefacts.
