Objectives:
- To create a Blackboard-based online platform for students of an introductory linguistics class to contribute and share sampels of their own speecch.
- To cultivate among the students a sense of curiosity and interest in language.
- To help students explore how one's speech encodes his age, gender, dialectal background and other factors that construct one's social identity.
