(TDG 2005/09)
Leader: Mr. Kenny Chow [SD]
Leader's email: sdknchow@inet.polyu.edu.hk
Other Members: Ms. Violet Chan [SD], Mr. Alex Ho [SD]
Objectives:
- To develop a set of teaching-and-learning aids that demonstrate how design principles in individual application domains (still images, moving images and interactive systems) are interrelated
- To Illustrate and map design principles in these domains by analysing student cases in relevant subjects.
Remarks:
The Project Team has advanced its understanding of various design domains (graphics, videos and interactive systems), which has benefited in programme development for stronger inter-subject articulation.
Reviewing design principles in association with students' outputs as examples helped the team to plan and execute outcome-based education in a practical and empirical context.
Outcomes & Deliverables:
The experiences reported in this section are collected from the project leaders. EDC is not liable for the accuracy of information and possible infringements of copyright associated with individual cases.
