Winner of the President's Award for Excellent Performance and Achievement in Teaching 2000/01

Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, joined the University in September 1989. Dr Li is honoured for her outstanding performance and achievements in Teaching. Dr Li is a recipient of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences' Award for Teaching Excellence in 1999/2000. She has developed two WebCT teaching packages and introduced client visits to the classrooms. She was actively involved in teaching and learning development projects. She has received teaching/learning grants of up to HK$685,000 in the last two years. Dr Li has published several papers related to her teaching and development projects, made presentations on teaching, and produced some teaching videos. She has also spearheaded the department's initiatives in the self-financed MSc programmes while taking up the role of Award Coordinator for the MSc Award in Rehabilitation of People with Developmental Disabilities. While accomplishing all these achievements, Dr Li completed her own PhD in 1999.
