The large amounts of data recorded about student behavior in a learning management system (LMS) is only useful if it can be accessed, analysed and interpreted easily and on demand.

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to an easy to use Excel tool developed specifically for teachers to understand their students’ online activity and enhance their teaching. Case-studies will be explored to demonstrate how the indicators provided in the tool are informative and actionable for enhancing their online teaching.

The analyses used in the case-studies will focus on helping students be more successful while studying, as well as how to use analysis of LMS data to enhance learning and the student experience for future course delivery.
