Arena Blended Connected (ABC) is an effective and engaging hands-on workshop developed by the Clive Young and Natasa Perovic at University College London (UCL).* In just 90 minutes using a game format, teams are able to work together to create a visual ‘storyboard’ outlining the type and sequence of learning activities (both online and offline) required to meet a module, programme or course learning outcomes. ABC uses a paper card-based approach representing the six common types of learning actvities; acquisition, inquiry, practice, production, discussion and collaboration. ABC is particularly useful for new programmes or those changing to an online or more blended format.

Please note, this workshop is a group-based activity, therefore we advise that attendees should be a minimum of 2-3 people from the same course team, or those who are collaborating together in the development of a module, programme, or online course.
